Federated, an interdenominational church, welcomes all who enter, invites each to find sanctuary, connect to God, one another, and the needs around us. We invite you to come as you are and join us in fellowship as we grow in faith and live into the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Grief, Loss, Death and Dying Small Group Resuming
A small group of Federated folks met together in March to share their beliefs, concerns, and questions about the journey of grief and loss in the process of death and dying. Several people found it a safe and supportive place to consider these big issues. I would like to continue to find a way to share and discuss these important questions. Next to birth, death is one of our most profound experiences – shouldn’t we talk about it, prepare for it, use what it can teach us about how to live.
On Thursday afternoon, June 30, 2022, we resume our sharing and invite any person who wishes to join us at 2:00 pm in the Chapel as we connect with each other in faith and doubt, wonder and friendship.
My husband Ed and I have recently recorded a video designed to share our “end of life wishes” with our grown children. I believe our small group could offer us all a place to articulate what choices we might make for ourselves.
I have several books that have been thought provoking for me. I will share some resources from two books “The Beginners Guide To The End” and “When My Time Comes”.
If you have ideas or suggestions for our group, please contact Sue Eiler through the office at office@federatedchurch.net
Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build
Federated is supporting this year’s Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build as our second quarter’s outreach project. We’re raising at least $2500 and working on the house Saturday, June 11. So far, our Federated team is mostly made of women, but men are welcomed to come help as well! You don’t have to swing a hammer to help, as you can donate to our Better than a Buck fund in May and June with all proceeds going to this cause. Last year we raised more than $3500 for this community effort! You can also sign up to help feed the crew that day. Last year we had an incredible buffet of food for all the workers. For more information, contact the church office office@federatedchurch.net (765) 463-5564.
