Small Groups

Pastor Dusty’s New Sunday School Class to Begin April 24th.

Pastor Dusty will begin a new small group discussion group on Sunday Mornings, starting April 24th at 9:30am in the chapel. We will be discussing material from authors Dale and Sandy Larsen entitled, Questions Jesus Asks. Even a quick reading of the Gospels reveal that Jesus preferred to ask questions rather than to answer them directly. In this study we will be referencing nine of Jesus’ most thought provoking questions. For example, Jesus asks, “What do you want me to do for you?” “Why do you call me Lord, Lord and do not do what I say? “You do not want to leave too?” Join us for this Sunday Morning 45-minute discussion as we jump into some intriguing questions that Jesus asks!

Grief, Loss, Death and Dying Small Group

Join us at our newly formed discussion group where one talks honestly about grief, loss, death and dying. Next to birth, death is one of our most profound experiences – shouldn’t we talk about it, prepare for it, use what it can teach us about how to live?   This group is for all of us who have questions about death and all those who mourn someone cherished who has died. It is a safe and confidential place to share our stories of death…even if they were very long ago. Sometimes our closest friends and families are reluctant to listen to these thoughts and these questions. We listen to each other and share what is in our hearts. In thinking about death, we mostly talk about how to live.  Led by Sue Eiler, it  meets on Thursdays at 2:00 pm in the Chapel.  For further information, contact the church office at (765) 463-5564 or
