9:15 amNursery for infants through age 3 while you attend Sunday School, small groups and worship.
9:30 am – OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN:  Psalm One-Five-OH! for children age 3 through first grade meets in the sanctuary; grades 2-5 "Kingdom Kids" meets in room 4; grades 6-8 meet in room 2; and high school students meet in room 1.
9:30 am – OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADULTS:  "Heavenly Helpers" Adult Class meets in Trimmer Hall, "Who Wrote the Bible" Adult Class meets in Henderson Chapel, and the Peace & Justice Group meets in the Parlor.
10:30 am – Worship.  About his message for us from Matthew 22:15-22, Giving Appropriately, Rev. John Williams writes:  Trying to trap Jesus, the Pharisees ask if it is appropriate to give to Caesar.  Jesus responds, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and give to God what is God's."  So, what shoud we give to God? 
10:45 amWorship and Wonder.  Children pre-K through second grade meet in room 8.
11:30 amCoffee Time.  After worship, wander down to Trimmer Hall for coffee, cookies & fellowship.
12–2 pmKid's Craft Day.  Join Tori Reece on the conference room (room 11), where we'll be making trick or treat bags.  Cost for materials is $5.
1:10–4:10 pmSunday Afternoon Book Group at the movies.  We are going to the Eastside 9 theatre to see Same Kind of Different as Me at 1:40 pm.  You are welcome to meet us in the Eastside 9 lobby at 1:30 or take a seat on the Federated Church bus, which will be departing the Federated church parking lot at 1:10 and returning to the church immediately following the film at 4:10.  The movie is rated PG13 and is suitable for most ages.

Monday, October 23

  Christian Meditation Group does not meet in October.
3:30 pm:  BRIARWOOD HEADS UP CLUB.  Free tutoring, games & snacks for K-12 students at Briarwood & neighboring apartments.  Click that link for details and volunteer opportunities.
